AKO Webmail Down for Many – The News of Today
There have been numerous reports both on Twitter as well as Facebook, that the AKO webmail server is down. The reports indicate that about 40 minutes ago AKO webmail users started having difficulties accessing their Army Knowledge Online email accounts.
The main error being reported is a typical 500 Server Error. A 500 server error is pretty much a catch all error indicating that something has gone wrong, but it can not be determined exactly what the specific error is.
AKO has had problems in the past with their webmail servers, all of which seem to be resolved within short periods of time. If you are one of the people having an issue accessing your webmail, we suggest patience. There has been no statement coming from AKO as of yet, but all indications show that the issues are being worked on, and may in fact be getting better for many.
